A Threat?
A Republican candidate for Texas Attorney General recently posted an outrageous message on his Twitter account, summarizing the mood at a Republican Christmas gathering as follows: "Enthusiastic, large crowd last night at Collin Co. Conservative GOP Christmas Party. Warriors for liberty in the great reawakening."
This strange divisive message comes from a longtime Attorney General insider who's been campaigning for Texas Attorney General for almost a year. The Houston mayoral outcome this weekend affirmed the last 12 months of Texas polling: wedge issues are no longer working in Texas.
Please help us win the Attorney General spot. We can defeat the extremist takeover of Texas politics, but we can't do it without you. Please donate today. Your contribution of $1,000, $500, $250, $100, $50, $25 will prove that Texans are fed up with out-of-touch language from the Texas GOP.
Texas GOP candidates talk of secession from the United States while ordinary Texans suffer from outrageously high insurance and electricity rates. The people of Texas deserve sane representation, not incitements to reawakening wars.
The published polling data for statewide Texas Democrats in 2009 is excellent. More Texans self identify Democratic than Republican. Donations of $1,000, $500, $250, $100, $50, or $25 will allow us to spread our message.
We can win the Texas Attorney General race with your help. Republican vulnerability is clear: the Dec. 14th Wall Street Journal features an op-ed calling on the GOP to stop playing wedge politics. The Republican AG candidate continues to ignore the handwriting on the wall.
Only 17 days remain before the most important reporting deadline for the upcoming March election. Please donate before our key Dec. 31 deadline.
